Shirdi Sai Electricals Ltd. (SSE) is one of the largest and leading Power and Distribution Transformers (up to 20 MVA, 66 kV) manufacturing company in India, established in the year of 1994 at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The company has achieved considerable reputation as one of the most reliable companies in the power sector industry

The company designs and manufactures Power and Distribution Transformers to cater to the needs of Electric Utilities and Private Enterprises within India and abroad. SSE is one among the few who have adopted green technology and started producing eco-friendly and energy efficient amorphous metal distribution transformers. The company has invested substantial amount to build state of the art technology in order to manufacture these transformers under the licence from Hitachi Metals Ltd., Japan with direct import of the raw materials from Metglas Inc., of USA (a company owned by Hitachi Metals).

SSE also provides solutions for Power Transmission and Distribution systems through its Turnkey Projects Division and has executed quite a few turnkey projects with the help of its world class infrastructure facilities and dedicated work force.

With over 100000 transformers present in various networks in the country (approx 40% being amorphous metal transformers), SSE is committed towards providing innovative products and services that meet the ever-changing needs of the industry with dedication to promote the cause of Energy savings in the times to come.

Our Beloved Managing Director, Mr N. Visweswara Reddy, has been handling key responsibilities as the Vice President (South-Zone),ITMA(Indian Transformer Manufacters Association) and played a crucial part in bringing technologiacal advancements in the manufacturing process.

The company has a strong workforce of more than 500 employees comprising of around 100 managers and supervisory cadre and more than 300 shopfloor technicians. We always believed in green technology, even the transformers that are manufactured at all our factories are eco-friendly transformers, while manufacturing the best qulaity eco-friendly transformers we also want to diversify into electircity production in the near future, but at the same time we want to produce electricity in the most effecient way(without polluting the environment),this is when we started looking at solar power.

Solar energy has been by far the most effecient source to produce electricity, but the problems involved in harnessing this energy are myriad. We believe the future of electricity is dependent on solar energy and how effeciently one can convert this energy into electricity and for this to happen there is a need of a great vision and leadership,we aim to do our part in fulfilling this dream of harnessing the energy of the sun by delving into the solar power industry in the coming future.
